New in the shop - Soap and sprinkles!

I have some more new stuff in my Etsy shop this week! I've been a very busy little crafter.

I tried my hand at a new craft last week... Soap making!

There is a section about soap making in my Martha Stewart Encyclopedia of Crafts (yessss) and when I read about it, it sounded so easy, so I decided to try it.

Turns out, it really is easy! I bought some bricks of glycerin and some fragrance and dye and a mold. All you have to do is melt the glycerin in the microwave, dye it a pretty color, make it smell nice, pour it into the mold, and let it cool for like 2 hours. It was super easy and really fun and the supplies weren't that expensive either. I think I only spent like $50 total on the whole project (until I realized you can buy fragrances online and then spent another $30 on smells).

Anyway, check out some of the soaps I made. If you're interested in buying some, check out the soap section of my Etsy shop!

I also got a massive shipment of sprinkles this week, so I've been embedding them in resin like a crazy person. I made a sweet resin bangle and some really cute pendants that I am very excited about. Check them out, and you can always see more by visiting my shop! :)

Pssst! Don't forget:
FREE SHIPPING ON ALL HALLOWEEN GOODIES THROUGH 10/31/09!!!
