Stuff on Etsy - Purple Kawaii!

When I first started hanging around on Etsy, I kept seeing this term pop up all over the place... "Kawaii."  I had to do a Google search to figure out what it meant.  Basicailly, it means "cute" in Japanese.  Here's the Wikipedia article that explained it all to me:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuteness_in_Japanese_culture  And BAM! I was hooked :)

I did an Etsy search right now for handmade goodies using keywords "kawaii" and "purple" because for whatever reason, I felt like looking at cute purple stuff!!

Stuff on Etsy - Polymer Clay Charms

I used to play with polymer clay when I was a kid and I made all kinds of stuff.  My favorite thing to make were pretty little balls - not beads - balls, that I would use to perform magic spells.  Also my Barbies would play soccer with them.  Yes, I know I was a dork, and I am fine with that!

I never had the patience to make tiny, adorable charms like the following artists have made.  I am continually impressed with the amount of detail that goes into creating something like this, particularly because they are so tiny!  There is a huge variety of polymer clay stuff on Etsy - these are just some of my favorites!

Wedding Shower

I'd like to share the photos from my wedding shower .. I mean, Devon and my wedding shower... this weekend.  It was really cute and fun and we got presents and cake and we were the guests of honor and it was fun to feel so special.  :)

Thanks a million times over to Eliz, Diane, and especially Chris who orchestrated the entire thing! You guys are amazing!

P.S. Oh my god it's only 18 days away.  Eeeeeek!
