Every single item used to make this cute bag is recycled. Even the crazy buttons are re-purposed earrings, and the shoulder strap is made from an old belt.

Hurrah for recycling! We don't do enough of it in this country. (I personally do my part by recycling shredded office documents into rat cage bedding!)
